My name is Justin and my wife's name is Tia. We live about 40 miles south of the small town of Interior near the Badlands of South Dakota. Stare Media is the name of my photography - web & print design busniess that I run. I like to have an open mind with every new project, be strait-forward with every client and work one on one until you are completely satisfied with the end product! I guarantee work you will not be able to keep your eyes off of!
My experience in photography began before college when my mother began her own photography business (Kruse Imaging, see Links page) and I quickly gained interest. I graduated college at Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and an emphasis in Photography. Since then I have built on my photography skills, as well as my design skills.
My wife Tia is learning photography and is very skilled in everything she puts her mind too. She helps me in the Photo aspect of our business and is excellent working with young children!
Our photography services include on-site shoots for senior portraits, family portraits, weddings and personal portraits. For now we do not have a portrait studio, but that is a future goal. Please see our "Rates" page for all of the package and pricing information.
Web and design projects are included in my business at very competitive prices. Since I am the only one that does all of the work, you don't have to pay for a studio of designers & advertisers to get your ideas on media. Being one person though, I like to keep the projects simple. Although that's not a bad thing for small businesses & personal ventures, so if that defines you, you are looking in the right place!
I would like to leave you with a poem I found that I believe really brings definition to the name of our business...
WHAT is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?—
No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
